Heating and air conditioning units are installed on all three levels of the home to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

There are two bedrooms in Casa Posidonia with queen beds in each, along with a pull out sofa in the living space. The artist in residency program, however, is limited to the artist and up to three guests for a four person maximum.

Street parking is available to the public outside of Casa Posidonia, though can often be already claimed by other neighbors.

There is a convenient parking lot two blocks away, however, which always has availability and may be more comfortable to park in than trying to park on the narrow historic streets where Casa Posidonia is located! A map to this parking location will be provided.

The Oliva beach is a five minute drive away with public parking available. You can also reach the beach in ten minutes by bike or 45 minutes by walking.

Casa Posidonia’s kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, induction stovetop, and oven. Pots, pans, and basic cooking utensils are also available in addition to dishes, silverware, and glasses.

Yes! We have a clothes washing machine available for your use! The washing machine also dries clothes, though you may find air drying your clothes on one of the two outdoor balconies using our drying racks may do the job a bit better!

While you may want to work on your art out in the city or in nature, we do have a studio space available for you to work on the ground floor of Casa Posidonia. Additionally past artists have enjoyed working on their art “al fresco” on one of the two terraces!

Most artists choose to bring their own supplies from home, though basic art supplies can be found at convenience stores in Oliva or in nearby Gandia. Some artists have left supplies at Casa Posidonia in the art studio, so if there are any extra supplies there that could be useful to you, you are welcome to use those as well.
